The Bear and the Piano
We are delighted to offer you the chance to buy a copy of The Bear and the Piano – David Lichfield’s award-winning tale of music, friendship and adventure – with original music by Daniel Whibley played by our orchestra, and a narration recorded by superstar Joanna Lumley.
£1 from every purchase of The Bear and the Piano will be donated to the WHO COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
Win a copy of The Bear and the Piano book!
Make your own drawing of something from the story, or maybe even the orchestra behind the music... it's up to you!
Send your artwork to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll feature it on our website and social media.
Watch, think, tell us...
Listen to the music – what we call the score – and see if you can hear any famous piano music. There's quite a few in there! If you have a favourite, let us know and maybe we can arrange a recording!
How many instruments do you recognise? Which makes the best sound? If you have a favourite, and want to know more about it, get in touch...
