A Donkey's Tale

The Bear and The Piano
David Lichfield’s beautifully-illustrated award-winning book was first introduced to our tour in 2017. A moving tale of exploration and belonging, friendship and music, it has proved a hit with all ages.
With an original score by Daniel Whibley played by a live orchestra, and a narration recorded by superstar Joanna Lumley, this entrancing creation is a favourite of audiences each year.

The Nutcracker Suite
Experience the wonder of this most Christmassy of seasonal pieces, by Tchaikovsky. Performances are brought to life by Tom Scott’s mesmerising animated film specially commissioned to accompany our live orchestra, allowing audiences to delve deeper into the music.
Carrot Productions’ adaptation of Cinderella is the result of a collaboration between three artists; a mesmerising score by Daniel Whibley, enchanting illustrations by Jacky Fleming, all interspersed with film featuring the acclaimed actor, Howard Chadwick. It premièred during the 2016 Snowman Tour.
This festive and fun creation tells the story of the orchestra travelling to the concert on a train. Disaster strikes as the conductor realises he has lost his ticket, frantically searching each carriage of the train and encountering all the sections of the orchestra along the way. It’s a fun an engaging introduction to the orchestra, suitable for all ages.
