Schooltime Showtime is an award-winning programme, offering a streamable version of our Wallace & Gromit: In Concert show, created in partnership with the world-famous animation studio, Aardman Animations.
With bonus material – including exclusive model making and animation instructional video content from Aardman – and numerous lesson ideas and resources, it offers a unique package for both primary and secondary schools.
As an extra, we are also offering schools the opportunity for pupils to achieve the Arts Award at Discover level as part of the package. Digital logbooks and all resources will be provided free of charge plus teaching notes to guide you through the process.

The Show
A cracking orchestral show suitable for all ages! Join everyone’s favourite dynamic duo for a screening of The Wrong Trousers with live orchestra.
Alongside a special introduction featuring classic Aardman film clips – including Shaun the Sheep – and accompanied by classical and popular music, watch as Wallace prepares to perform his Musical Marvel, My Concerto in Ee Lad with help from his faithful canine companion, Gromit… what could possibly go wrong?!

We’re offering a full COVID-19 guarantee in case your school closes or if classes need to learn from home. Our flexible packages can be accessed at home, or you can defer to another time that suits you – all at no extra cost.

Who are we?
Carrot Productions is the world’s leading performers of both Wallace & Gromit: In Concert and The Snowman film with live orchestra. Our musicians are handpicked from orchestra such as the BBC Philharmonic, Hallé, BBC Concert and London Symphony Orchestra. We staged a 38 show UK Wallace & Gromit tour in 2019, and our shows are scheduled worldwide including Japan, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the show be streamed to multiple classes simultaneously?
Yes. You can stream the show using the link and password provided, and this will work at any time and on any number of machines.
How long can I access the show and resources?
You will get access for at least two months.
What happens if students are sent home to isolate? How do we share the online resources and show with them at home?
You can share access to the online resources with students by sending them the link to those pages. To grant access to the show, simply share the link and password with the student so that they can watch it at home.
What if we have to close due to Covid-19?
We offer a 100% risk-free booking: any part of the package can be deferred to a more suitable time, or the materials and final show can be shared online with pupils at home.
What materials do I need to purchase for the Aardman model-making?
Each penguin requires 2 strips of black plasticine, a quarter strip each of yellow, white and orange, and a cocktail stick (or similar). Aardman recommend, and use, Newplast for their model-making, but other brands are also suitable.
Is the animation software free and easy to use?
Yes! Aardman has just released a brand new, free and easy-to-use animation app for your students to use when animating their penguin conductor: Aardman Animator
Can I book as many Show and Tell sessions as I want?
Absolutely, although we recommend that you let us know as soon as possible who you would like to deliver the sessions (musician, conductor, animator etc), and your preferable dates and times. Each 30 minute live, online Show and Tell sessions with one of our artists costs £85.
