How long does the performance last?
The performance is in two halves. The first half lasts around 35 minutes and the second half lasts for 30 minutes. Some performances have a 20 minute interval though a few venues with limited facilities may have no interval. So, in a nutshell, 65 mins or 85 mins.
Is the concert suitable for small children?
The concert is suitable for all ages from 3+. Occasionally, small children may start to cry or make a lot of noise. If this happens we ask parents will show consideration to the other audience members and take whatever action is needed to calm the child down.

Is The Snowman the only thing in the concert?
No. The Snowman film is shown in the second half of each concert.
Depending on the venue, the Snowman film will be accompanied by a wonderfully Christmassy Overture, an interactive guide to the orchestra and one of three exclusive animated films, all family-friendly and with accompanying live orchestra. Which orchestra is playing?
The orchestra comprises some of the country’s finest musicians. All the musicians have been hand-picked, not only for their great talent, but also for their sense of fun. We have musicians from The Halle, BBC Philharmonic, BBC Symphony Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra amongst others.
