Carrot Productions partnered with Aardman Animations in 2018, gaining exclusive rights to tour with Wallace & Gromit: In Concert across the UK.

A grand day out for the whole family...

Join everyone’s favourite dynamic duo as Wallace prepares to perform his musical masterpiece My Concerto in Ee Lad with help from his faithful canine companion Gromit… what could possibly go wrong?!

 

This interactive experience features specially created animations as well as live orchestral accompaniment and escapades from the Picture House Orchestra and presenter Matthew Sharp.

Gromit Model Making Workshops

We've teamed up with Aardman and their expert model makers – the creators of Wallace & Gromit – to offer model-making workshops at select venues our tours.

These are really fun, hands-on sessions where participants can get creative with clay and discover how to make their very own Gromit

 

You can take your masterpiece home and have a go at animating it using Aardman’s easy to use Animate It! software.

Be taught by the pros, hear great anecdotes about the studio,  and ask any questions you might have about Aardman and their production processes.

The tour so far...

In May 2019 Wallace & Gromit: In Concert (previously entitled Musical Marvels) was premiered at the National Film and Television School, where Nick Park created his Academy Award® nominated graduation film, Wallace & Gromit: A Grand Day Out. 

 

In a rare opportunity for fans, Nick and Julian Nott (also an alumnus of NFTS) took part in a Q&A session as part of the event.

We have toured Wallace & Gromit to a variety of venues, including:

About Aardman

Is the performance suitable for small children?

Our performances are suitable for age 3+. Occasionally  children may become fractious during the performance, so we ask parents and carers to be considerate of others by temporarily leaving the audience area.


Babies In Arms policy

Babies 18 months and under are admitted for free if seated on a parent's lap throughout, although this may not apply to all venues, so please check before purchasing.


I need to ask about personal assistance and accessibility

We offer a personal assistance scheme which enables those coming to an event in need of assistance to claim a ticket for a personal assistant at no charge. Wheelchair spaces are available by request. Find out more...
