Carrot Productions were delighted to be asked to provide the orchestra and music for the Duke of Westminster's wedding to Olivia Henson at Chester Cathedral on Friday 7 June, 2024.
“A wonderful day, and an honour to be asked to perform at such a special occasion" Rachel Whibley, Carrot Productions' Artistic Director
Duke of Westminster's Wedding
Hugh Grosvenor, the godson of King Charles III, married Olivia Henson in a beautiful ceremony at Chester Cathedral. Thousands of people gathered in Chester outside the cathedral to share in the day and congratulate the happy couple.
The couple had made a conscious effort to involve local and regional companies in the wedding - and we were thrilled that they asked Carrot Productions to provide the orchestra.

Music
Our 23-piece orchestra played a beautiful selection of music during the service - including the accompaniment to the hymns alongside Chester Cathedral’s wonderful choir - arranged by Carrot Productions artistic director, Daniel Whibley. The music was warmly received by the large congregation, which included Prince William, who also performed duties as an usher.
