Another day dawns and Wallace and Gromit are making bread for their latest enterprise – the ‘Top Bun’ bakery. With robotic kneading arms and a windmill on the roof, they’ve got a very professional set-up, but there’s just one problem – the other local bakers in the town have been ‘disappearing’ one by one… could Wallace be the next one to go?

Gromit finds himself being pushed out by a devious new lodger, Feathers McGraw. A ruthless criminal (and a penguin cunningly disguised as a chicken), he’s planning a robbery and needs to use Wallace and his mechanical remote controlled trousers to pull off the raid. However, Gromit is wise to the penguin and comes to the rescue. Will he be able to stop the feathered fiend?

Timmy, the youngest of the flock, often gets into scrapes in the TV series, and this tale is no exception. When a farmhouse raid to get bigger stockings goes wrong, Timmy gets carted off to the local Christmas market. The Flock spend the rest of the film trying to get him back, including piling themselves up as a multi-sheep snowman pyramid.

The Snowman and The Snowdog is the sequel to the story of The Snowman. It aired on Channel 4 on Christmas Eve 2012 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Snowman and of Channel 4. Bringing some extra fun and mischief to the original story, The Snowdog appeals to a contemporary audience and provides a new way for the whole family to come together each year and re-live the magic.
