Carrot Shorts
Written and adapted specially for the musicians from our acclaimed full orchestra shows, our Carrot shorts programmes offer a more intimate musical experience that is particularly suited to smaller settings where space is limited.
Our Musical Beasts, More Musical Beasts and Fantastic Fairy Tales shows are highly engaging and interactive, offering a unique perspective and proximity to the music-making. At the end of each performance there is an opportunity to meet the musicians and see the instruments up-close.

Taking the music to the children
Our first short programme, Musical Beasts, broke down barriers to accessing world-class classical music due to its malleable and interactive structure.
It was clear from our experience of putting on school shows there were still lots of children still not able to attend due to their complex needs, potentially not accessing any live music at all. So we took Musical Beasts into the heart of special schools, performing it where it could be accessed by all.
Our short programme shows now tour schools, special schools and venues offering a unique and up-close-and-personal way for children to access live music.
