The Snowman Tour
Make it a Christmas to remember with a special screening of family-favourite, The Snowman, accompanied by a live orchestra.
Presented by Carrot Productions – the world's leading performers of The Snowman film with live orchestra – our award-winning show features some of the UK's finest professional musicians.

A magical, family Christmas show
All shows will feature a special screening of The Snowman, accompanied by our live orchestra. There will also be a fun, festive introduction to the orchestra and a visit from the Snowman himself!
As an extra bonus, each performance will include a second short film, also accompanied live by our orchestra. For 2024, we have two fantastic new films on offer, each being screened and accompanied by our live orchestra for the very first time. Choose between The Bear, the Piano, the Dog and the Fiddle or The Snowman and The Snowdog.
See Box Office listings to find out more about the venues, dates, times and combination of films at each show.

Auditions for soloists
We are delighted to once again offer children aged 7-17 (up to year 8 for Derby and Buxton) the chance to sing the evocative Walking in the Air solo during The Snowman Tour. This is a wonderful and unique opportunity for young musicians to sing alongside our professional orchestra and in front of hundreds of people.
Frequently asked questions
How long is the show?
Each show will last approximately 60 minutes. In the venues having an interval during the public performances (Wimbledon, Derby, Liverpool and York), the shows will last approximately 80 minutes.
Is the performance suitable for small children?
Our performances are suitable for age 3+. Occasionally children may become fractious during the performance, so we ask parents and carers to be considerate of others by temporarily leaving the audience area.
I need to ask about personal assistance and accessibility
We offer a personal assistance scheme which enables those coming to an event in need of assistance to claim a ticket for a personal assistant at no charge. Wheelchair spaces are available by request. This can be requested by contacting the ticket issuer for a particular venue (see below).
Is The Snowman the only thing?
No. In addition to The Snowman, each performance will feature a second bonus film together with a fun, festive introduction to the orchestra and a visit from the Snowman himself. The second film will be either The Bear, the Piano, the Dog and the Fiddle OR The Snowman and The Snowdog – all accompanied by a live orchestra. Please see individual venue listings for specific details of which second film is being shown.
Which orchestra is playing?
The Picture House Orchestra – comprising musicians hand-picked from top UK orchestras including the Hallé and BBC Philharmonic amongst others.
I have a question about my tickets. Who do I talk to?
This will be different for every venue. Ticket holders should contact the venue or their ticket issuer direct for full details (see below).
Refund policy
For some of our Snowman performances we offer a refund for any reason up to 30 days before the performance date. Thereafter, refunds will only be given in the event of the performance being cancelled.
Please check the refund policy with the relevant ticket issuer below.
