50 Years of Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep and Friends

We proudly presents a landmark celebration of Aardman’s extraordinary world – bringing together iconic characters, much-loved films and the thrill of a live orchestra for an unforgettable cinematic experience.

Created in close partnership with Aardman, this special anniversary event invites audiences to rediscover classic moments from Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, Morph, Creature Comforts and more. These shows will inclde a full screening of either The Wrong Trousers or A Matter of Loaf and Death with live orchestral accompaniment.

Warm, funny and joyfully nostalgic, it’s a celebration of five decades of British storytelling and creativity.

Wallace and Gromit - Gromit has a violin
"Absolutely perfect in every way... Highly recommended for all ages"
"It hits all the right notes"
"A great way to introduce children to a live orchestra"

Frequently asked questions

How long is the show?

All performances except York will last approximately 60 minutes, with no interval. The performances in York will last approximately 80 minutes, including a 20 minute interval.

Is the performance suitable for small children?

Our performances are suitable for age 3+. Occasionally children may become fractious during the performance, so we ask parents and carers to be considerate of others by temporarily leaving the audience area.

I need to ask about personal assistance and accessibility

We offer a personal assistance scheme which enables those coming to an event in need of assistance to claim a ticket for a personal assistant at no charge. Wheelchair spaces are available by request. This can be requested by contacting the ticket issuer for a particular venue (see below).

Is The Snowman the only thing?

No. In addition to The Snowman, each performance will feature a second bonus film - Peter and the Wolf - together with a fun, festive introduction to the orchestra and a visit from the Snowman himself, all accompanied by a live orchestra.

Which orchestra is playing?

Carrot Productions’ Snowman Orchestra – comprising musicians hand-picked from top UK orchestras including the Hallé and BBC Philharmonic amongst others.

I have a question about my tickets. Who do I talk to?

This will be different for every venue. Ticket holders should contact the venue or their ticket issuer directly for full details (see below).

Refund policy
